I have loved tracking my reading and books with this spreadsheet this year. I discovered the tracker on Smart Bitches, Trashy Books near the end of 2020 and fell in love with it! It suited my needs better than most of the trackers I’ve come across and their post was so helpful for someone like me who knows feck all about using spreadsheets. Thanks to them, I figured out how to edit their tracker to make it really work for me and eventually, after some tinkering around, I figured out how to prettify it as well.
Please check out their post on how to do these things. I wish I could explain it all but I am very much a novice at this stuff and probably wouldn’t do it right.
Since I got my first spreadsheet looking just how I liked I made a copy of it for 2023 and decided to share it with you all. The screenshots below show you what I entered and how the data was used for the graphs. You can change all of these things for your own spreadsheet and the Smart Bitches, Trashy Books post can help you with this.
I’m such a nerd for all of those graphs and pie charts. I freaking love ’em! Once December 31st passes I will be printing my spreadsheet on tea-stained paper and adding it to my reading journal. Click the button below to get a blank copy of this spreadsheet for 2023. Be sure to create a copy of the spreadsheet so you can add your own data.
The spreadsheet is set to view only. You must make a copy to use as your own.
Thank you so much to Smart Bitches, Trashy Books for creating and sharing such a fantastic spreadsheet 🧡🧡

Where to Find Me
Thanks, for sharing this book tracker spreadsheet. Never have kept one, but plan on starting one now. I read a lot of mystery and thriller books. My granddaughter is into wicking and I will be starting a junk journal for her. I plan on getting some of you ideas on ETSY to help me do this. I really appreciate you help in everything.

Thank you so much! I am so happy you have found some inspiration here. I hope you enjoy creating the junk journal and I’m sure your granddaughter will love it. It’s a wonderful creative hobby and what you create at the end is something so unique and personal.
Enjoy your reading and junk journaling!

Hey there, Elaine! Thanks for sharing this spreadsheet and making my life easier lol Anyways, how do I put it all for 2023? Do I change the formulas of the cells or something? Or do I literally wait a couple of weeks to start filling it? Thanks againg!

Thank you for making this available! I’ve been searching for 2023 tracker but I can only find ones from past years. I also like how yours is set up so much more than having drop-down options. I like that I can just type whatever I want into boxes and it’ll show up in the graphs! 🙂

Wow, these are amazing spreadsheets and a way to track your books! I only really use Goodreads to track my books tbh, otherwise I’d get more focused on the tracking / spreadsheets than actually reading ahha x
